Worship.

I want to share with you a point someone shared with me during the past five weeks: Missions exists because worship doesn’t. Worship is the ultimate goal, not missions! We (all of us!) were created to love God and be loved by Him, to live for Him, to worship Him. Because we are fallen, God has to reach down and bring us back to Him. He allows us to share in His work by sending us out to share His love. On that note, we, as God’s children, are all called to shine for Him. You made have heard it before, but it’s the truth- if you are saved by grace, you are called to share that. You, as a follower of Christ, are a missionary. It does not matter where you are, who you are. What your job title is. If you are a teacher, a nurse, a stay at home mom, a police officer, whatever- God put you there, He will use you if you let him. It’s not about us. Alone, we are completely incapable of achieving anything eternal. But through Him, we can do anything. Nothing is impossible! Rejoice in that. He loved us enough to give up His son on the cross, and He loves us so immensely that He touches our lives everyday and allows us to touch the world for His sake. :) What an amazing reason to be joyful!

On my heart right now is my ministry. Please be in prayer not so much for me as for what God is doing in my midst. Pray for my part in teaching Sunday morning discipleship for preteen girls, pray for those living near me, pray for the orphanage. Pray that God would be glorified. He is great and He is rocking my world every moment. I am absolutely in awe of what He can do and is doing, and I just love Him so much. I am not doing anything worth praising, but He sure is!
