my paperwork has arrived, praise the Lord! :) everything seems to be in order, so my next update will be from the other side of the Atlantic. love you all.

please pray that my visa gets to me before i need to leave. that is still up in the air at this point, but God is in control. i added my contact info to the blog, and i'd love to get mail while i'm away. :) this week has been full and busy. lots of saying goodbye, lots of shopping and planning. i will celebrate a birthday my second week in Tanzania, so we had my party on Saturday, which was great fun. i fly out early Friday morning, so be in prayer for our travels. our team arrives in Dar at 1pm on Saturday afternoon. this may or may not be my last post from the States; we;ll just have to see. :) i love you all. talk to you soon!

Welcome to my Africa blog! I will be posting here while on mission as much as I have internet access. I want all of my American friends to know that I love you very much and will miss you terribly while I am away; and to my new friends, I cannot wait to meet you!
